The so-called "traceability" study, begun in 2001, includes over 400 plots of maize (corn) in real conditions each year. It provides valuable information on the impact of growing practices on the development of field mycotoxins. These results have led to the development of growing plans to limit the risk of the occurrence of Fusarium toxins on maize (corn) grains at the time of harvesting.
