AGRO FORUM seminars

Every year, Maïsadour Semences' technical and marketing teams organise around a dozen AGRO FORUM seminars across Europe for their customers and partners.

These exclusive in-field meetings with experts are an opportunity for sharing and discussing current issues: controlling crop trajectories, mycotoxins and maize quality, market trends and applications (bioethanol, waxy maize, semolina manufacture, etc), regulations, and so on. They also provide an opportunity to try out the new hybrids on site.

Maïsadour Semences looks after the whole event, inviting speakers, setting up the site and managing communications.

The 'Reference' Network

In 2003 Maïsadour Semences set up the 'Reference' Network - a network of farmers' plots - in recognition of the fact that each crop-growing situation is different, with each plot presenting its own advantages and particular considerations.

This network consists of over 900 plots which are monitored from sowing to harvest, allowing detailed information to be gathered about our hybrids and making our crop-growing advice even more relevant. The findings are used in conjunction with the results from two years' observation of hybrids in the Development network, upstream from commercial release.

Today, the database has over 5000 results and can be consulted 24 hours a day on line (in french).

Technical communication

Working side-by-side with customers and partners also means we can provide a wide range of resources, via different media, detailing our products' characteristics and particularities. Websites, catalogues, brochures and technical sheets are available for each region in the relevant local language.
