Being in charge of a production research programme

Eric Marsan
I am in charge of the production research program at Maïsadour Semences. My role is to optimise and increase reliability of hybrid seed productivity. To do this, I study lines from our two main production areas here in the South-West in different soil types. As well as analysing their inherent characteristics with the help of our breeders, I also look at how they behave with different plant protection products and crop trajectories.


Sunflower breeder

Mathilde Costes
I am part of the sunflower breeding team, and I'm responsible for the genetic material enhancement programme, which uses technological and pathological criteria. We are also developing several varieties of oil-bearing sunflower. I am also working on resistance to broom rape and on imidazolinone-tolerant sunflowers. This innovation will allow better weed removal management for farmers.


Technical Sales representative

Yann Marioton
I am a Technical Sales rep in south-west France. My role is to help my customers position the most suitable varieties in our range on their markets, from both agronomic and technological points of view. Our aim is to provide the best added value to our customers' business, whether they are farmers or processors.
