The Administrative Board of Maïsadour Semences has elected a new president. Jean Luc CAPES, 50 years old, father of 4 children, farmer and seed producer in the Northern part of Landes region, France, succeed to Mr. Francis Lalanne who is getting retired and leaves his responsibilities in Maisadour.

Mr. Capes is well known into French farmer profession, where he held many union responsibilities at regional and national levels. Actually, Jean Luc Capes still occupies the jobs of Vice-president of Landes Chamber of Agriculture, President of Group "Water" in FNSEA (national pool for defense of irrigators' interests) and he is ensuring as well others administrative activities.

Mr. Capes is involved in direction of Cooperative Group Maïsadour since many years. He is Administrator since 1998 as Representative of seeds producers. Consequently, he knows very well the challenges for Maïsadour Semences within Cooperative Group Maïsadour.
